Driving Growth and Performance at Scale
Alessandro D’Amico is a global sales leader with 12+ years of experience building and scaling high-performing sales organizations across APAC, EMEA, and North America. He has spent his career at the intersection of sales execution, leadership development, and cross-cultural team building—where growth either compounds or breaks.
Today, Alessandro is Director of Sales Development at Datadog, a leading observability platform for cloud-scale applications. He leads a team of 75 professionals across 20+ markets, including first- and second-line leaders and 65 sales reps operating across Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Australia, and most recently, India—where he helped launch Datadog’s sales hub from the ground up.
Building Multi-Market Sales Infrastructures
Known for blending data-driven rigor with emotional intelligence, Alessandro builds sales teams that scale without sacrificing culture, engagement, or trust. His focus goes beyond hitting numbers: he designs the operating rhythms, leadership behaviors, and coaching systems that turn ambitious teams into consistent performers—across geographies and time zones.
Before Datadog, Alessandro was recruited to build the first global inside sales function for a major commercial education provider. He led the hiring, coaching, and development of multilingual sales teams supporting 50+ countries in 13 languages, while building the sales infrastructure and operating systems needed for rapid international expansion. Throughout his career, Alessandro has set up and replicated sales organizations in Poland, Ireland, India, and Dubai, helping fast-growing companies adapt proven sales models to local markets without losing execution discipline.

The Science of Human-Centric Leadership
Beyond his corporate roles, he is a Thinkfluencer at Tigerhall, where he shares insights on sales leadership, team motivation, and scalable sales operations. Having lived in eight countries, Alessandro brings a deeply global, human perspective to leadership. He holds an MBA (2020), where his thesis focused on the impact of leadership on inside sales performance.
His thinking is shaped by research from The Culture Map, neuroscience, evolutionary psychology, and emotional intelligence—disciplines he applies daily to how people perform under pressure. Outside of work, Alessandro is passionate about kickboxing, a discipline that mirrors his leadership philosophy: clarity, consistency, and progress built one conversation at a time.
